Short Bio
The research activity of Dr. Alessandro Brancatella is aimed at studying the endocrinological complications induced by the new therapy with immune check-point inhibitors. His project is divided into a clinical part in which patients treated with immunotherapy are prospectively followed in order to understand the risk factors associated with the development of endocrine dysfunctions, and in a part of basic research aimed at the study of expression of the molecular targets of these drugs in endocrine tissues.
