Davide Tiziano Di Carlo

My main interest is the study of the white matter and the functions subserved by the different fascicles, both in vivo, with awake surgery for glioma treatment, and post-mortem with virtual and hand-made brain dissection. My Ph.D. project deals with the development of the human brain during the fetal period. My project aims to unravel the internal architecture of the human brain, the relationship between the long associational fiber tracts in relation to the gestational age.
