Giovanni Gadducci is a medical doctor. During his residency in radiation oncology at the university of Pisa gained expertise in chemotherapy, immunotherapy and in radiotherapy
treatment. He also became interested in cancer research especially in central nervous system tumors is currently a PHD student in clinical and translational science . His PHD
project consist in a development of a new technology called Flash radiotherapy able to spare healthy tissue while resulting at the same time equally effective on tumor tissues
compared to conventional radiotherapy. He is currently testing FLASH RT on several cell cultures of healthy and cancer tissue in order set the condition for future clinical trials.
