Short Bio

Luca Segreti is a Medical Doctor working in the Cardiology Department at the University Hospital of Pisa. He is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology from 2020. He is Author or co-Author of over 70 national and international publication in the Cardiology field. His studies and research activity are focused on Clinical Arrhythmology and Electrophysiology. He is particularly interested in the treatment of Cardiac Arrhythmias, and in particular in the approaches in Atrial Fibrillation Ablation and relative outcomes. Other research interests include the treatment of cardiac pacing issues and complications with transvenous lead extraction. Dr Segreti’s research project title is “Advanced Technologies for Successful Ablation of Atrial Fibrillation in Clinical Practice”. Aim of the study is the determination of a series of clinical and procedural parameters predicting the recurrence of the atrial fibrillation one year after the ablation procedure”.
