Short Bio

Sabrina Giometto is a PhD student in Clinical and Translational Science at the University of Pisa, and she is also enrolled in the post-graduate school of Medical Statistics and Biometry. She is a statistician by training, and her research focuses on pharmacoepidemiology. Prior to starting her PhD, she worked as a research fellow in medical statistics for four years at the University of Pisa, collaborating with the Tuscany Regional Health Agency. The aim of her PhD research project is to explore, investigate and apply new methodologies for quantifying drug exposure in pharmacoepidemiology studies. These methodologies will be applied to the administrative databases of the Tuscan region.
