Valentina Galfo

Valentina Galfo is a medical doctor and a PNRR Ph.D. student in the Microbiology and Immunology Area. Her research interests focus on infections caused by multidrug-resistant organisms in hospitalized, critically ill patients, including immunocompromised patients and COVID-19 patients. She is interested in evaluating efficacy of new antibiotic agents for multidrug-resistant bacteria and antimicrobial stewardship strategies for a better choice of appropriate therapy. Currently, Valentina is also a resident in Infectious and tropical disease at University of Florence.
