Prof. Raffaella Nice Berchiolli

Raffaella Nice Berchiolli, was born in 1957, graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Pisa and received Specialization in General Surgery at the University of Pisa, in Vascular Surgery at the University of Milano and Cardiac Surgery at University of Pisa.

From 2020  is Associate Professor of Vascular Surgery,  at Department of  Translational Research and of  New Surgical and Medical Technologies at the University of Pisa. She teaches Vascular Surgery at the University  of Pisa. 

She chairs Vascular Unit at CardioToracoVascular Department of AOUP, she is Director  of the Specialization School  in Vascular Surgery at the University of Pisa.

Her main research, clinical and scientific interest lays in carotid surgery, in treatment of critical limb ischemia, in aortic disease with focus on endovascular techniques in acute aortic syndrome and in aortic graft infections.
