Short Bio

Roberto Ceravolo (MD, PhD) is an Associate Professor of Neurology (graduated in 2018 as Full Professor) at Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine-University of Pisa. He is the Director of the Clinical Centre for Neurodegenerative Disease- Parkinson and Movement Disorders (Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria Pisana) one of the leading centers in Italy

His scientific and research activity has mainly been conducted in the field of neurodegenerative diseases, with main focus on clinical neuropharmacology and the neuroimaging, with more than 200 full papers on peer-rewieved scientific journals

He has received several fundings from Italian Minister of Health, Italian Minister of Research, National Research Council, Joint Programme-Neurodegenerative Disease Research (JPND Research), Tuscany Region He has served as ad hoc reviewer for several journals including the most indexed ones Neurology, Movement Disorders, Journal of Neurology Neurosurgery and Psychiatry, European Journal of Neurology, Annals of Neurology, Brain, Journal of Neurology, Neurobiology of Aging. He served as Associate Editor of Journal of Alzheimer Disease and Frontiers of Neurology.
